poppedart:Paintings and Miscellany by Jules Anslow

Welcome!Come on in. Peace has prevailed with the camera, so I was able to bring a chair with me this time. Do sit down, put your feet up on the plastic tooth, and relax. Please, continue digging in the boxes, but do mind the cages (the one with the black nose bites).

At last a few of my paintings and etc. have arrived, with more coming soon. Feel free to fondle the knick-knacks or plot a course to the Devron system, whichever you prefer (do remember it's in the neutral zone; you'll need a cloaking device). Here are a few pictures from our trip to Neptune last summer, when the rain was a seven-eyed barn swallow with a crispy mantra dangling noiselessly from my left ankle. We ran into Bob there, who sends his love. And it occurred to me there, in the bathroom, how much sense does it make to make sense when no one else can make sense of the sense you're making? Ah, but now to propose a toast...

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

My roommate from a purple past came to visit me next month from Cleveland, bringing with her a most luminous electric blanket, as the Northwest winds have crept throughout the unpainted (as yet) stairwell, into the echoes of a pitbull named Kitty and children sleeping gleefully in the windowless closet not yet filled with shoes, fleas, or chicken wire, let alone an anxious electric kiln. I haven't the heart to tell her the pipes are still broken. Perhaps she has a curtain of her own... three black cats should be plenty, don't you think, Edgar? Ah, but the ferrets are here now, as I recall wisps of fictitious smoke curling from the business end of the pen clenched in her teeth, reflecting tiny colored balls swirling futilely in an endless vortex amid Luther's velvet intonations... I only hope the altitude will adequately consternate the blackberries.
